Leading sectors shape hiring priorities

Health Care and Social Assistance remains the largest industry of employment in the Central Coast Council area. Retail Trade and Construction follow, together accounting for 39.5 percent of the resident workforce in 2021. These three sectors continue to drive most new listings, pulling talent toward roles that range from entry-level support positions to skilled trades.

Pay bands test retention efforts

The average annual pay for jobs in Central Coast NSW is approximately $77,000. Entry-level positions start at $29,000 while experienced roles reach up to $350,000.
