Central Coast Council has released new entry fees and parking charges for key winter sites starting July 15, with day passes at Terrigal Beachfront now set at $12 for vehicles.

Two sites see the biggest shifts. The Gosford Waterfront Markets on Mann Street run every Saturday from 8am, with stall access requiring a $4 wristband this year. Nearby, the Avoca Beach Boardwalk program run by the Central Coast Community Trust offers free guided walks but charges $7 for equipment hire at the lagoon entrance.

Transport and entry details

Bus route 70 from Gosford Station to Terrigal now costs $4.80 one way under the updated Opal rates effective 1 July. A single parking spot along Ocean Street in Terrigal runs $3.50 per hour between 9am and 5pm on weekends. Council data shows 42,000 visitors used these routes in June alone.
