Central Coast Sports College student Eliza Familton, 17, signed a scholarship deal with the Central Coast Mariners Academy, providing a direct route into the club’s NPLW program.

Partnership opens full-time training route

The college launched its collaboration with the Central Coast Mariners to give female players a full-time environment that feeds straight into the Mariners NPLW side. Familton’s scholarship places her among the first athletes to benefit from that arrangement after the college recorded dual CIS Cup grand-final wins in boys’ and girls’ soccer last year.

The same college also saw its girls rugby league team claim the NSW PCYC Schoolgirls Cup in September 2025, beating Westfields Sports High 18-14.
