In the Bayview neighborhood, families at the Central Coast Community Center now ask AI assistants to coordinate after-school pickup times and grocery lists tied to sales at the weekly farmers market. A few blocks away on Pacific Avenue, the Harborfront Innovation Center began offering free 45-minute sessions last week to show residents how to link the same tools to public transit apps for Harbor District routes.

Staff at the center noted that participants often test the features on the spot, entering details such as a child’s soccer schedule at the nearby waterfront fields or a reminder to check tide times before weekend outings.
